The Black Tie Harvest is Iowa Western Community College’s largest single fundraising event, raising over one million dollars during the past eleven years. In 2010, all Black Tie proceeds will benefit the Lloyd Endowed Scholarship Fund. This newly established endowment is dedicated to nursing students and was created to address the area’s nursing shortage.

To create an annual event bringing visibility, recognizing friends, and securing resources for college scholarships.
Proceeds from the Black Tie Auction will be directed to match the newly established Lloyd Endowed Nursing Scholarship Fund.
